Care Instructions

General

  • Do not wear jewellery during household or chemical work. Cleaning products, such as chlorine, may damage jewellery.
  • Avoid wearing jewellery during heavy work or sports activities, as this may cause deformation. In addition, perspiration with a high acidity level may affect jewellery for some individuals.
  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, hairspray and sunscreen. Apply these products first and allow them to dry completely before putting on your jewellery. Also be cautious with nail polish remover.
  • Put on your jewellery over a table rather than over a sink to prevent loss or damage.
  • Store each piece of jewellery separately to avoid scratches. Preferably use the original box, cotton padding or a soft cloth.

Silver

When silver loses its shine or shows discolouration, it can be polished using a silver polishing cloth or a silver cleaning bath.

  • A polishing cloth allows you to gently clean only the areas that require attention.
  • A silver cleaning bath involves immersing the entire piece of jewellery in the cleaning solution.

Please note: the use of cleaning liquids is not recommended for silver jewellery set with stones or pearls, as these materials may discolour or become damaged.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is durable and easy to maintain. Generally, it is sufficient to avoid scratches.
If the jewellery becomes dirty, gently clean it with mild soapy water and dry it thoroughly.

Stainless Steel with IP Coating

  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, hairspray and sunscreen. Apply these products first and allow them to dry before wearing your jewellery.
  • Do not wear these jewellery items while swimming, showering, bathing or using a sauna.
  • Avoid scratches.
  • If necessary, clean gently with mild soapy water.

Plated Jewellery

  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, hairspray and sunscreen. Allow these products to dry before wearing your jewellery.
  • Do not wear plated jewellery while swimming, showering, bathing or using a sauna.
  • Clean gently with mild soapy water if needed.
  • Be cautious with scratches: daily wear may result in signs of wear over time.

Leather

Leather is a natural material and therefore requires special care. As leather absorbs moisture, it is advisable to minimise contact with liquids as much as possible.
We recommend removing jewellery containing leather during the following activities:

  • showering and bathing
  • swimming
  • household chores and dishwashing
  • sports
  • sleeping

Baby Bracelets

During the crawling phase, it is recommended to remove the bracelet. While crawling, the bracelet rubs extensively against the floor, which may negatively affect both the engraving and the colour.
Once the baby has completely stopped crawling and is able to walk independently, the bracelet may be worn again.
